Tell us about your earliest swimming memory.

I learnt to swim at Judy's Swim School, and I remember her singing fun songs as she taught me to swim.

Why is swimming such a special sport for you?

I've always enjoyed being in the water, swimming with my friends and improving my times. I love the vibe and energy at galas.

Which of your achievements are you the proudest of and why?

I am most proud of the SARJ time that I recently achieved for 100m butterfly because I trained really hard for that race.

How do you stay motivated throughout the season?

I stay motivated by setting goals with my coach, Lauren Shear from Jozi Aquatics, and focusing on achieving them.

What are your goals for the year ahead?

This year I'm determined to improve my times and perfect my stroke techniques, while still having fun.

Apart from swimming, what do you do for fun?

Apart from swimming, I enjoy netball, tennis, and athletics. In my spare time I read, listen to music, and spend time with my family and friends.

Why are you excited to be a part of the Speedo family?

I have always loved the Speedo brand and the elite swimmers who represent the brand. I think that the swimming costumes are cool, and I'm proud to be a Speedo brand ambassador.
