This summer we’re bringing adventure to our shore lines with a summer event like no other. For those who have a heightened sense of adventure and a passion for cold water dips, exploring new places and experiencing the diversity of life down under, the Speedo Adventure Swim Series is the event you’ve been waiting for.
Get ready to explore virgin swim locations that simply put, blow everyone away. We’re changing the perception of open water enjoyment by bringing a unique swim into the mix, one which can be completed by an experienced swimmer or one new to the world of open water. This season, it’s about having fun, embracing new challenges and simply enjoying one of our favourite places, the ocean.
Cape Point
Cape Point, an iconic destination for both local and international visitors. We're taking it one step further, why not experience this breathtaking landmark from the ocean. You decide the distance, complete the full +-4km or hop off the boat when you feel like adventuring. These swims are all about the enjoyment and experiencing the true beauty of open water swimming.

FAQ SECTION
Q: Can I wear a wetsuit?
These events are not about the finish line time, thus you can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Q: Is there an age or performance limit?
No, however each individual needs to be a confident swimmer, water safe and be able to manage colder water temperatures. Indemnity forms will need to be completed by all entrants, all under 18’s will need to have a guardian to sign on their behalf.
Q: Will there be a support and water safety crew?
Yes, we use only the best team, Big Bay Events to ensure that everyone is safe and watched over in the water.
Q: When will the date be communicated for the swim?
Due to each swim being weather dependent, we will confirm the swim date +- 1 week before commencement, however each event will take place in their respective months.
Q: What is the distance of each swim?
The distance will vary from swim to swim, however the full swim will be +-4km with +-2 hours on the water.
Q: What to bring with to the swim?
A small waterproof wet bag or plastic packet which contains a warm jacket, water bottle and your own snack, if needed.
