Super Salsa Verde

Herbs are extremely nutritious leafy green vegetables that should be included in abundance in our diets. This is an easy and delicious way to use them.

This savoury dressing can be tossed through salads, cooked quinoa or chickpeas, or drizzled over fish or steak to add flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1 heaped tsp cocoa powder
  • ½ avocado
  • 2 dates
  • 1 banana
  • Add about ½ cup water and ice, as needed

Preparation

  • Blend all together in a NutriBullet or blender.
